akron city council supports heart & Soul with resolution

The Akron City Council passed a resolution supporting the Stronger Together: Akron and Westfield Heart & Soul program and the Community Heart & Soul model in our community.  Click here to read the resolution.  Thank you to the council and City of Akron for their support as we move forward with this exciting opportunity!!

The council also approved a lease agreement for the vacant lot in the 200 block of Reed Street.  One of the first Stronger Together projects will be a beautification project in that lot to create a seating area for residents and visitors to enjoy.
