Have a great idea?

We're looking for projects to make Akron & Westfield even better places to live, work, play and learn!

The 2024 GROW Challenge is an opportunity to win up to $500 to make your idea happen.  Any individual, family or group can enter their idea.

Entries are due on Monday, September 30.  Winning project will be announced in October.

How to enter

1. Review the six focus areas identified in the Stronger Together research and feedback process. These are the values that our community members felt most strongly about in hundreds of survey responses and conversations.  And, check out the ideas that were suggested.

Commitment to education
Vibrant arts and culture

2. Identify a new project that will meet a need in the Akron or Westfield communities.  It must be a new project, not an extension or expansion of an existing program or project.  Develop a brief overview including who will complete the work, budget, and which of the focus area(s) the project addresses.

3.  Complete the online application form by midnight, September 30.
