The mission of the Akron & Westfield Growth Alliance is to provide a meaningful forum for community members, groups and businesses to connect with one another, collaborate and promote positive progress in addressing community needs.

Board of Directors

The Growth Alliance will be managed by a seven-member board of directors, with board advisors from City of Akron, City of Westfield and Akron-Westfield Community School District.   Initial funding for the organization comes from matching funds raised in the Stronger Together program.

Our Purpose

Financial Support

• Identify opportunities for progress and improvement within local communities and provide support to those projects that meet community needs and priorities.
• Drive growth by meeting with local decision makers on a consistent basis further promoting collaborative efforts towards maintaining and improving the communities.
  
• Provide administrative services surrounding fundraising for local organizations to create efficiency and cohesiveness within the communities.
