We are excited to share that the Stronger Together: Akron and Westfield Heart & Soul program has completed Phase One of the Heart and Soul model. Click here to see milestones.
Phase One included introducing the program to our community, receiving endorsements from City Councils in both Akron and Westfield, hosting several awareness events and coordinating the development of the pocket park in a vacant lot on Reed Street in Akron. Check out our Phase One Report for more details! We are moving ahead quickly with Phase Two, which is focused on connecting with and listening to everyone in our communities. We're launching this phase with a survey and a goal to hear from 500 people! If we receive 500 responses by Dec. 31, we'll draw for $100 cash, gift cards and other prizes.
