We're excited to host 2025 Akron Color Run to benefit the Akron Trails system.

The Color Run will be held at the Akron Golf Club at TIME on Saturday, June 28.

COLOR RUN WAIVER.  By checking the “yes” box when registering, I, the completer of the registration, acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions in relation to my participation or my child’s participation in the 2025 Akron Community Color Run (“Event”):
1. Acknowledgment of Risk
I understand that participating in the Event involves exposure to colored powder and inherent risks, including but not limited to personal injury, falls, contact with other participants, illness, and possible loss of life, as well as risks of damages to or loss of property. I voluntarily assume all such risks associated with participation.
2. Release of Liability
As a condition of entry, I hereby release, indemnify, and hold harmless the City of Akron, the Event sponsors, vendors, supporting agencies and all officers, employees, volunteers and agents of all parties associated with the Event from liability for injuries, damages, any and all claims, demands, causes of action, costs, and attorney fees, relating to, arising out of, or in connection with participation in the Event, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or death, even if caused by negligence.
3. Medical Clearance
I confirm that to the best of my knowledge, I (or my child) am in good health and have no known medical conditions that would prevent participation. I understand that it is my responsibility to consult a physician if I have any health concerns
prior to participating.
4. Use of Likeness
I grant permission to the City of Akron or event sponsors to use photographs, videos, or other media taken during the Event for promotional purposes without compensation.
5. Compliance with Event Rules and Final Authority
I agree to comply with all Event rules, including instructions from Event staff and volunteers. I understand that failure to comply with rules and instructions may result in my (or my child’s) removal from the Event without refund. Event staff and
volunteers have sole and complete discretion regarding all Event related matters. All decisions regarding the race and participation shall be subject to the Event staff and volunteers’ final authority.
6. No Refunds
I acknowledge that the Event registration fees are non-refundable, even if I (or my child) am unable to participate.
7. Age Requirement
If the participant is under 18, I, as their parent or legal guardian, confirm that I have read, understood, and agree to the terms of this waiver on their behalf. By checking the “yes” box in the registration, I confirm that I have read, understood, and voluntarily agree to all of the above terms. If I am signing on behalf of a participant under 18, I confirm that I am their legal parent or guardian and have the legal authority to agree to these terms on their behalf.
I CERTIFY THAT THE INFORMATION PROVIDED IS CORRECT AND THE I HAVE CAREFULLY READ, UNDERSTAND, AND ACCEPT THE TERMS OF THE COLOR RUN WAIVER. I UNDERSTAND AND ASSUME ALL RISKS, AND I AM VOLUNTARILY ARGEEING TO PARTICIPATE ON BEHALF OF MYSELF (AND MY CHILD). IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY IN WHICH I AM INCAPACITATED AND NO IMMEDIATE FAMILY MEMBER OTHERWISE AUTHORIZED TO CONSENT IS IMMEDIATELY AVAILABLE, I AUTHORIZE A REPRESENATIVE OF THE CITY OF AKRON AND/OR EVENT STAFF TO CONSENT TO ANY MEDICAL TREATMENT OR CARE DEEMED ADVISABLE.
